First off, I’d like to wish everyone a very happy whatever-you’re-celebrating again. It’s well on towards midnight on Christmas eve and I have officially stopped listening to the radio until Monday. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against Christmas (in fact a good portion of my family celebrates it and my mom and I are going over my uncles house tomorrow for just that reason), I just get annoyed with Christmas music after a while. It’s just always bugged me and, unfortunately, until Monday, that’s all they’re going to be playing. It makes me glad I have a rather large collection in iTunes.
And to entertain you, this is the video of a house on the same street as my grandmother.
But on to the knitting! I finished both Multnomah and the socks for my grandmother. I’m quite proud of both projects, even if it was coming down to the wire to get them done (I was up rather late last night finishing the socks).
So without further ado, here’s a bunch of progress picture for Multnomah since I didn’t really post any while I was working on it (since my mother occasionally reads my blog and I wanted it to be a surprise).
That’s it for Multnomah, the last picture is of it wet-blocking (my first time wet blocking, it came out nice).
So now onto my grandmother’s socks, the patter is called Warrior and dedicated to breast cancer awareness.
And there ya go. I think I’ll put another post up in the morning with pictures of the baking my mother and I did yesterday. But for now, this post is long enough.
